Terrorists obtaining and using Weapons of Mass Destruction is a nightmare scenario for western societies. How real is this threat? What would be the consequences? Are we able to respond if a major terrorist attack is successful? How can we prevent and protect our societies against a terrorist attack involving Nuclear, Chemical or Biological weapons?
The panelists were: Andrew C. Weber, Deputy Coordinator for Ebola Response at the U.S. Department of State and former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical and Biological Defense Programs, Anders Romarheim, Fellow Transatlantic Centre, Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies, and Thomas Hegghammer, Director of terrorism research, Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI) and adjunct professor of political science at the University of Oslo.
